We knew this day would come eventually—this Friday is going to be our first RAINY market! We’re ready to brave the (almost) spring showers. Will you join us this Friday to support our vendors? Many of our vendors’ livelihoods depend on their profits from our market - let’s show them that the Topanga community is there for them regardless of the weather.

We’ve created this handy guide to shopping our rainy market:

1. Dig through your closet to find your grooviest canyon chic rainwear. Raincoat? Great. Umbrella? Even better. Polka dot galoshes? Perfection. We support all rainwear choices.

2. Drive (very safely and slowly!) to the farmers market and park for free. Use the money you’ve saved to buy a fancy vegetable. 

3. Make a beeline for your favorite hot drink of choice. A latte from Bonito? A chai from Vitality Bite? Or a yerba mate from Tomas? Heck, why not all three? It's raining, you deserve it.

4. Sip your drink like it’s the elixir of life while perusing the outdoor market. The misty landscape makes everything look more magical. Pretend you’re in Scotland. Or Ireland.

5. Chat with a farmer. Compliment their produce. Sample all the samples. Thank them for driving from far away on the rainy freeways. Stock up on some supplies for weekend meals. Pasta? Yes. Wine? Double yes. 

6. Warm up at our indoor Artisan market - pop inside for some vintage and handmade goods. 

7. Congrats! You did it. You can head home now with a full trunk, full fridge and even fuller heart — a feeling that comes from supporting small businesses, seeing your friends and neighbors, and eating delicious food.
