This Valentine’s Friday at the market, we’re celebrating love in all its forms.

Farmers markets have always been places where connection happens naturally, and this Friday we’re leaning into that spirit.

We’re inviting community members to participate in a lighthearted connection activity: make a suggested donation of $5 and receive a bracelet to wear while you shop.

• Pink = open to friendship

Maybe you’ll meet someone new. Maybe you’ll reconnect with an old friend. Either way, you’ll find good food, warm community, and a beautiful view. Stop by the Info Booth to get your connection bracelet and learn more.

At 11:00 AM, we’ll host an optional, low-pressure Market Mingle — a Topanga-style take on speed meeting (think meet-cutes, not speed dating), with short, guided conversations for anyone who’d like to participate. It’s not just for singles, and all ages, orientations, and identities are welcome. Join for one conversation or several — or simply wear your bracelet and enjoy the morning.

And of course, we’ve got you covered for Valentine’s gifting — flowers, strawberries, chocolates, delicious prepared foods, and so much more. Your Valentine will love you even more for supporting small and local.

Bring Food Donations to Contribute to Families in Need

Our Food Drive supports NELA Food Distribution, a community-led effort delivering groceries to families in Los Angeles who don’t currently feel safe leaving their homes. With access to food disrupted for many households, your donations help ensure families — especially children missing school meals — have the nourishment and support they need. It’s one more way our market shows love for neighbors beyond our canyon.
