This Week at the Market: Mending at the Market & Local Business Love
If you love the market, come every Friday!
Thank You for Making Welcome Back, Topanga a Community Gathering to Remember!
Wow, what a fun Saturday we spent all together at the Theatricum Botanicum! It was a blast to come together, support our friends and neighbors, and celebrate the spirit of our community after the Palisades fire. We shopped local, ate local, enjoyed music, and shared a day filled with connection and laughter. A heartfelt thank you to Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, the Community Brigade, firefighters, and emergency responders who keep us safe. Come see many of the local businesses you saw on Saturday at the market this Friday! Let’s continue to support all of the local Topanga brick-and-mortar businesses as we all weather the current road closure.
$30 Produce Voucher for those in need at the Market this Friday and Next Friday, Feb 21st and 28th

Once again, THIS WEEK and NEXT WEEK, thanks to the ongoing support from World Central Kitchen, the Topanga Farmers Market is providing $30 vouchers to families and individuals who have lost their homes, are facing serious financial hardship due to the recent fires, or need support with groceries during this rough start to 2025.
These vouchers can be used as currency at any of the nine farm vendors at the Topanga Farmers Market. These vouchers cannot be used at the prepared food vendors.
Vouchers must be picked up in person at the market on Friday, February 21st and 28th, between 9 AM and 1 PM, and can be redeemed any Friday before March 28th.
How to Receive a Voucher:
If you already signed up for a voucher last week and your name was on the list when you picked up your vouchers at the market, then you do not need to fill out this form again - your name will automatically be on the list for Feb 21st and 28th. To ensure these vouchers go to those who truly need them, you must sign up in advance using the link below. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, February 20th, at 6 PM. We have limited funding, so we hope that the vouchers can get to the people who really need them.
If you have questions about eligibility, please email [email protected].
Mending @ The Market with Tigerowl THIS FRIDAY

New Vendor: Sol Babe Foods

Sol Babe Foods joined our market family bringing nourishing, high-quality Superfood Trail Mixes, Energy Bites, and Granolas to the canyon every Friday. Crafted with all organic ingredients, Sol Babe Foods focuses on clean, whole-food nutrition without compromise.
Each product is made with sprouted oats and sprouted pumpkin seeds for better digestion and nutrient absorption. You won’t find any seed oils, refined sugars, or gluten—just simple, wholesome ingredients designed to fuel your body. While everything is 100% vegan, two products—the Peanut Butter Bites and Coconut Chip Granola—are lightly sweetened with honey.
For a protein boost, Sol Babe Foods incorporates organic whole-food protein sources like hemp seeds, pumpkin seed powder, and organic protein powder in their nut butter bites. Many recipes are also sweetened with monk fruit to keep the glycemic index low, making them a great option for sustained energy.
Market Co-Founder Kate highly recommends the Peanut Butter Bites - “our whole family is obsessed.”
Come visit Sol Babe Foods at the market this Friday and say hello to owner Sonja.
This Week’s Artisan Market & Local Business Love
Our amazing Artisan Market is located inside the Community House - don’t forget to come visit the incredible local artisans and vintage collectors. This week a handful of local Topanga brick-and-mortar businesses will have booths as well. Come support all of these amazing small business owners during the road closure. Check out the lineup below.
Kids Music Class @ The Market This Friday

Community Clothing Swap
👕 ♻️ At the beginning of February, we launched our Community Clothing Swap and we’ll be continuing every week in the future. This week we’ll have a kids rack!
It's a sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe—bring up to 5 clean, gently-used items (no stains, tears, undergarments, athletic wear, or shoes) and swap them for something new-to-you. We welcome both kids’ and adults’ clothes. Not only can you swap items, but you can also leave clothes for others to take or make a $10 donation to the market to purchase pieces that catch your eye. Come find some new treasures and give your old items a second life! This is not an opportunity to offload a ton of unwanted clothes - instead, bring things you would give to a friend. **If raining hard at the market, the Clothing Swap will not take place.
