Sustainability Services THIS FRIDAY, May 1st

Electronics Recycling, Knife Sharpening & Mending at the Market

Dear Market Friends and Neighbors,

After a long season of fire recovery, road closures, and disruption, it has been incredibly exciting to see the market recently feeling extra vibrant, joyful, and full of life. Have you felt it?! We are finally getting to experience a true spring at the market—lush produce, bustling aisles, friendly faces, and that special energy that happens when people come together in person.

We’re excited to share that this Friday, May 1st we’ll be offering some sustainability services at the market, making it even easier to care for the things you own, reduce waste, and live a little lighter on the planet. Come drop off your Electronics Recycling (free!), get your knives sharpened with Sharper Chef, and bring clothing to mend or alter with Vicki from Topanga Homespun. We are also excited to be hosting a major leader in sustainable fashion and home goods, Suay Sew Shop with Gya Organics for the next 6 Fridays in our Artisan Market.

If you missed our recent article in the Topanga New Times about the importance of farmers markets and the growing Re-villaging movement, be sure to check it out here - we’d love to hear your thoughts! We’re proud to be part of creating a place where neighbors reconnect, local farms thrive, and community life grows stronger week by week.

A very special announcement! Our 2026 Sponsorship Drive has been finalized and we’re debuting our Sponsorship Banner at the market this Friday! Thanks to our amazing lineup of sponsors, we raised over $40K to cover our market operating costs and our Neighbors in Need Produce delivery program for 2026. Scroll down to get a first glimpse of our Heirloom and Harvest level sponsors.

Also, don’t miss a really fun Community Event happening at Corazon this Sunday - a Father Daughter Dance to raise money for LATaco and immigrant families! The whole family is invited! Hope to see you there!

And of course, we can’t wait to see you Friday.

💛 Peace, Love, and Produce 🥕✨

“Re-Villaging: Why the Farmers Market Matters More Than Ever” - Topanga New Times

IIn the April 17 issue of the Topanga New Times, we wrote about something deeply meaningful to us and central to the spirit of our market: the Re-villaging movement, and why spaces like the Topanga Farmers Market matter more than ever.

Re-villaging is about rebuilding the everyday connections, mutual support, and sense of belonging that modern life often lacks—the very feeling we experience each Friday morning when our community gathers together. Take a read below and let us know what you think.
