Market REOPENING on Friday, Jan 31st - FREE PRODUCE!
Come celebrate, hug your neighbors and pick up free produce for anyone impacted by the fire

Free Produce at the Market on Friday
We’ve partnered with the incredible organization, World Central Kitchen, to provide a free bag of fresh, local produce to anyone who has been impacted by the recent fires. Come grab a bag and select your own produce from our 10 family-owned farms. While the farms are being compensated for the produce customers are receiving for free, all of our farm vendors have had a really rough month of sales due to the fires. If you have the means, our farmers would definitely appreciate contributions towards their farm operations. Visit the following farms’ booths and fill up your free bag:
Ayala Family Farms
AZ Ranch
Burkart Organics
Creation Family Farms
Cuyama Orchards
Etheridge Family Farms
Fungi Valley
McGrath Family Farms
Smith Farms
Weiser Family Farms
Nonprofits & Community Groups Coming to Friday’s Market

Healing & Restoration at the Market This Friday
As we reopen the market this Friday, January 31st, we’re offering more than just fresh food—we’re creating space for healing. Free massages, reiki, cranial sacral therapy, and other self-care services will be available INSIDE THE COMMUNITY HOUSE to support our community after these challenging weeks. These services are generously donated by local practitioners. Feel free to tip them to show appreciation for their time and care.

Support Our Market Community Members:
One of our beloved vendors, Hannah Wear of Greener Empowerment Foundation, tragically lost her home. Hannah has been a true steward of our canyon, championing native plant awareness, pollinator projects, and Sustainable Saturday events. We are committed to supporting her, her husband Kevin, and their daughter Pearl as they rebuild their lives. If you’re able to help, please contribute to their GoFundMe campaign here: Support the Parkhurst-Wear Family.
Additionally, many of our loyal customers have lost their homes. Click here to see a list of families impacted. If you know of others, please let us know so we can share their campaigns with our community.
Support the Community Brigade:
The Community Brigade’s efforts were instrumental in protecting the canyon during the Palisades Fire, and we’re so grateful for their incredible work
The Community Brigade is a groundbreaking partnership with Los Angeles County Fire aimed at bridging the resource gap between professional first responders and local communities during disasters.
Their efforts were instrumental in protecting the canyon during the Palisades Fire, and we’re so grateful for their incredible work. Currently launching in seven pilot communities in the Santa Monica Mountains, in partnership with LAFD, they aim to expand to at-risk communities across the West.
Volunteers are trained in fire behavior, communications, home hardening, and operational procedures to support response agencies during wildfires and other disasters. By empowering local communities, they’re creating a cultural shift toward greater resilience and preparedness.
Come meet the Community Brigade at the market on Friday, January 31st to learn more about their mission, training opportunities and sign up for a home hardening check. In the meantime, you can support their work here.
