This Friday, many have the day off in observance of Juneteenth, making it the perfect opportunity to spend a Friday morning at the market. Whether you’re stocking up on the freshest local produce, gathering ingredients for a Father’s Day barbecue, or simply enjoying a beautiful morning in the canyon, we’d love to see you.

In honor of Juneteenth, we’re also taking time to celebrate and support the Black-owned small businesses that help make our market so special. We hope you’ll stop by and show them some extra love this week:

  • Our Sweet Lives – Decadent cookies and dessert bars from award-winning baker Ladae

  • Vision Sprouts – California-made sprouted nuts, seeds, and nut butter sauces

  • Branch Patty – Authentic Jamaican-style patties made by hand in small batches

And with Father’s Day just around the corner, the market is filled with thoughtful gifts and delicious treats for the father figures in your life and we’re offering a few special Father’s Day services and activities:

🎨 Create a handmade watercolor card with Space Art + Supply ($10)

🔪 Sharpen Dad’s favorite kitchen knives or garden tools with The Sharper Chef

Friday mornings at the market are always special, but this week feels like the perfect way to kick off a long weekend, celebrate community, support local businesses, and find something meaningful for Father’s Day.

Oh, and did we mention it’s going to be a perfect 71 degrees?

We’ll see you Friday from 9am–1pm at the Topanga Community Center.

Celebrating Juneteenth

✨ Spotlight on Our Black-Owned Small Businesses ✨

In celebration of Juneteenth, we're honored to shine a spotlight on the incredible Black-owned small businesses that help make our market such a vibrant and welcoming community.

Every Friday, these entrepreneurs, makers, farmers, and chefs bring their talent, creativity, and passion to Topanga, enriching our market and strengthening our local economy.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity. It's also an opportunity to intentionally support Black-owned businesses—not just today, but throughout the year.

We invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting these wonderful members of our market family. Thank you for sharing your gifts, your stories, and your work with our community.
