We’ll be closed this Friday, January 2nd. After the energy and joy of our December holiday markets, we’re taking a short pause to rest, reflect, and recharge. This in-between moment feels both restorative and necessary—a chance to slow down after a full year of growth, connection, and community building. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the market on Friday, January 9th.

As we look back on the past year, we’re filled with immense gratitude 🙏. What began as a dream to revive a weekly gathering has blossomed into a vibrant community hub—one where neighbors connect, farmers share their bounty, and local makers bring their craft and creativity to the canyon.

Here’s a look at our favorite market stats from 2026:
• 44 incredible Friday markets 📅
• 168 unique farmers, food producers, artisans, and makers 🧺
• 300–500 visitors on average each week 👥
• 3 markets closed or canceled due to the Palisades Fire 🔥
• 1,000+ boxes of fresh produce served to our canyon seniors and neighbors in need 🥬
• 2 years (in March!) serving the Topanga community 🎉
• 8,000+ new Instagram followers (✨ 16,000 total!) 📸
• 2,500 new newsletter subscribers (4,200 total) 💌
• $973,000+ spent on organic, nutrient-dense produce supporting small, family-owned farms and businesses 💚
• $23,000+ contributed by our generous sponsors 🌟
• 456 “service” dogs visited the market 🐾 (credentials unclear, cuteness undeniable)
• 1,000,000+ hours Kate and Freddi have spent discussing weather forecasts ☁️
• 2 tired, yet deeply grateful founders ❤️

As we contemplate the new year, we’re inspired by what’s possible. Our goals for 2026 center around increasing community outreach programs — especially our Neighbor in Need Produce Box program 📦. In 2025, this program was generously funded by World Central Kitchen 🌍, but that funding ended this December.

To continue, we must raise $500 per week to provide nutritious, organic produce delivered directly to our neighbors’ doors by local volunteers 🚗💚. We’re currently 53% of the way to our sponsorship goal and counting 📊!
