Even better? PCH and Topanga Canyon Blvd are OPEN! 🎉 So just load up the kids and cruise on over to the market from 9-1. We’ve got the food and entertainment covered 😉

We Stand With Immigrants

This week, we want to speak clearly: We stand in solidarity with the immigrant community in Los Angeles, California, and across the United States.

Immigrants—documented and undocumented—are the backbone of our country’s food system. From planting seeds to harvesting crops, from preparing meals to delivering food to our tables, immigrants make it possible for all of us to eat. Their hands are on nearly every piece of food we buy, cook, and share. Without them, our nation’s food system and our communities cannot function.

Immigrants are human beings, and therefore, deserve to be treated with dignity. We shouldn’t have to prove their “worth” to justify their rights. All people deserve respect, safety, and the ability to live and work without fear.

Now is not the time to be silent.
If we truly honor, respect, and stand beside our immigrant neighbors, friends, and family, then we must speak up.

At our market, we are committed to building a space that reflects these values. A space that uplifts dignity, equity, and connection.

We’re thrilled to welcome one of our beloved customers and longtime canyon residents, Lisa Desimini, for a special storytime at the market this week! Lisa is the author of the adorable new children’s book, Fire Pups to the Rescue.

Join us this Fridaym June 13th at 11:30 AM, right after Brafo’s music class, as Lisa reads her book under the oak tree.

Copies of Fire Pups to the Rescue, and some of Lisa’s other great books, will be available for purchase—come support a talented local author and neighbor!
